To enable students to select the most suitable
equipment for measurement and fault finding in a
digital system/sub-system.

To enable students to take accurate measurements in
a digital system, to interpret the measurements and
draw conclusions based on those measurements.

To show students how to logically and systematically
locate faults in digital systems and repair them.
