Description
To study some of the mathematical topics from the
core and elective units in the Associate Diploma of
Applied Science (Mathematics) from an historical
point of view.

To encourage an historical insight into some
familiar mathematical topics and hence to foster a
more meaningful understanding of these topics.

relates to the world. How and why it was created,
