To provide students with the practical and
theoretical skills necessary to be able to identify,
diagnose and control pests and diseases of
ornamental and nursery plants.

to achieve a pass in the subject.

Objective (multiple choice/questions, short answers and short

A ten-minute talk to be delivered to the class. The student should nominate a
pest or disease of his
choice 15%

Assignment 1

To make a collection of ornamental pests and disease
maladies with simple lifecycle on prescribed malady
sheets 25%
