To enable students to gain experience in a range of
techniques useful in laboratories engaged in
teaching, research and/or diagnostic services.
To provide a sound background in fundamental
biological theory, principles and techniques to
enable students to adapt to new techniques and
methods in the laboratory situation.

biological experimentation, adopting a careful,
accurate and systemic scientific approach.
