To enable students to refine technical skills
related to execution of entire traditional
repertoire: Lombadina, TSI, South-West dances,
Mornington Island dances, and Yirrkala dances.
To allow students to consolidate technical execution
of traditional repertoire to public performance
standard.
To encourage students to perform traditional Aboriginal dance in public, with
serious commitment, pride in identity, and strong technical execution.
To encourage students to be independently
responsible for mounting traditional Aboriginal
performances.
To allow students to understand the deeper significance of mime in traditional
dance, as an invocatory, cathartic summons to the spirit of the animal.
