Description
To enable learners to describe ecosystems in their region and to identify
factors that could change how well the ecosystems function. The health,
quality and management of areas of native vegetation are discussed and key
species of flora, fauna and pests identified. This module will also enable
learners to design nature conservation networks.
Range of Variables
This module will be best presented as a concise delivery of the general
concepts supported by specific information that is relevant to the learner’s
region. Slides, audio-visual presentations, field visits and measurements and
observations in laboratory-type facilities will complement the delivery.
