Evidence Guide
Internal assessment from Post Test 1, Pre/Post Test
of Modules A, B, C, D.
A pass in Audio Typing 1 is by way of successful
completion of Post-Test 1 or Pre/Post-Test 2 of
Module D. In order to achieve this goal, students
progress through the Modules at varying levels:-
- A beginner student must complete Module A, Assignments 1
and 2, at least before being able to skip an assignment. When at a suitable
level, the beginner student can complete Review 1 of Module A and upon
achieving a high standard of work may attempt Post-Test 1 of Module A.
If the student passes, Module B is started
and similar progression is made.
If the student fails, Review 2 (or if
necessary another assignment before Review 2) is
attempted, then the student can attempt Pre/Post-
Test 2.
Successful completion takes the student to Module B.
- A student with prior knowledge needs to be counselled by
the lecturer and a Pre/Post-Test 2 needs to be given from the Module which best
suits the supposed level of that student. If successful, the student
progresses to the next Module. If unsuccessful, the student should commence
from the beginning of the Module on which she was unsuccessful, or if
necessary, a previous module.
Pre/Post-Tests must be kept under security and
administered according to the time allowed.
Results of Pre/Post-Tests must be strictly recorded.
Pre/Post-Tests should be marked according to the
Audio Typing 1 marking scale deducting for errors
and totalling those marks lost then subtracting
of Modules A, B, C, D.
