To provide the student with the skills to:
-use an electronic total station to capture field survey data and download the
data to a computer
-process the data using an existing Engineering Surveying software package to
obtain plots of detail surveys, to design and plot horizontal and vertical road
alignments, and determine volumes of excavations and stockpiles.
