Description
To provide the skills required of the pattern maker to cut patterns for
advanced/creative styling to standards acceptable by industry.

To develop skills to enable students to design and construct patterns with the
emphasis on direct draping onto the dress stand.

To provide students with an understanding of fabric performance, body
measurements, fit and ease.
