To provide a comprehensive study of the role of the
receptionist:

- as a representative of the organisation, having responsibility for creating
and maintaining good relations with the public, supervisors and staff.

- as an effective participant in the activities of the
organisation, so as to be able to deal with the specific problems and tasks
which may be encountered in business, government and professions.

To provide for the overall emotional and social
development of a student.

To promote care of appearance, correct speech and
good manners.

Assessment 2: This assessment to cover Topic 2
- Commercial Procedures 20%

Assessment 3: This assessment to be divided into
two (2) parts.

- Topic 3: Office Systems, and
- Topic 4: Areas of Specialisation 20%

- Revision: Topics 1 - 4 inclusive 40%
