To provide the participant with a knowledge of the economic environment within
which a business operates.

Range of Variables
This module provides for off-the-job training in a variety of modes.
Strategies should be selected to reflect the nature of the learning outcomes
and the needs of the participant.
Some areas of content may be common to more than one learning outcome and
therefore integration may be appropriate.
Delivery methods should be selected which enhance learning and allow sufficient
time for CBT assessment. All assessment criteria are to be tested, but it
should be noted that evidence of competence in some assessment criteria can be
inferred from the testing of later assessment criteria. All assessment
criteria have equal standing or “weight”. One assessment instrument may be
used to test a number of assessment criteria.
