Description
This qualification prepares students to work as a deckhand, tour guide or hospitality worker in the marine tourism industry.
The program includes practical seamanship, small vessel operations and maintenance in a marine environment. Students learn how to conduct a charter and provide tour commentaries, prepare and serve food and drinks, sail, sea kayak and snorkel.
Graduates will receive the qualification plus a Statement of Attainment for any additional Units.
