Description
This training program aims to provide learners with industry specific training to gain skills, knowledge and behaviours to enable transition into an apprenticeship in Commercial Cookery or Patisserie.

1. Core Units

2. Elective Units
Five (5) Elective Units, consisting of:
- three (3) units listed in SIT20312 Certificate II in Kitchen Operations located in the SIT12 Tourism, Travel and Hospitality Training Package.
- two (2) units listed in SIT20312 Certificate II in Kitchen Operations, elsewhere in the SIT12 Tourism, Travel and Hospitality Training Package, or any other current Training Package or accredited course.
The following is one example of units that may be selected. The SIT12 Tourism, Travel and Hospitality Training Package should be consulted for further information on the selection of elective units.
The selection of electives must be guided by the job outcome sought, local industry requirements and the complexity of skills appropriate to the AQF level of this qualification.
