Description
This qualification covers the skills needed to practise as a naturopath. Besides core common and specialisation units, a choice of electives is offered.
Occupational titles for these workers may include:
Naturopath
Naturopathic practitioner
Natural medicine practitioner
Natural therapist

Packaging Rules
26 units of competency are required for award of this qualification, including:- 24 core units, comprising 12 common units and 12 specialisation units
- 2 elective units
A wide range of elective units is available, including:
- Group A electives which are required to provide and manage acute homoeopathic treatment
- Group B electives for work in massage therapy
- Units of competency to address workplace requirements and packaged at the level of this qualification or higher in Health and/or Community Services Training Packages
- Where appropriate, to address workplace requirements, units of competency packaged at the level of this qualification or higher in other relevant Training Packages
1. Common and Specialisation Core Units
All twenty four (24) units must be completed
2. Homoeopathy Electives
Note: Both electives must be selected to provide and manage acute homoeopathic treatment
