Description

This qualification reflects the roles of employees such as driller’s assistant, floorman, leasehand or roustabout working in well servicing. They undertake a prescribed range of functions involving known routines and procedures and takes some responsibility for the quality of work outcomes.
No licensing, legislative, regulatory and certification requirements apply to this qualification at the time of publication.

Total Number of units = twelve (12)
- six (6) core units, plus
- six (6) elective units, of which
- at least four (4) must be chosen from the electives listed
- no more than (2) units may be chosen from elsewhere within this training package, or from another endorsed training package, or from an accredited course.

All elective units selected from outside this qualification must reflect current occupational and learning outcomes of this AQF qualification level.

There are no prerequisites to imported units listed in this qualification. Where a unit is imported as an elective care must be taken to ensure that all prerequisites specified are complied with.
