Description

This qualification provides the skills and knowledge required to coordinate and administer the installation, commissioning and ongoing maintenance of a range of networks, enterprise servers and systems, including internetworking, security and e-business solutions.

An individual with these skills may be part of a team or provide services as an independent information and communications technology (ICT) specialist.

Total number of units = eighteen (18)
- twelve (12) core units plus
- six (6) elective units

The elective units consist of:
- up to six (6) from the elective units listed below
- up to three (3) from elsewhere in ICT Information and Communications Technology Training Package at Advanced Diploma level
- up to three (3) from any other Training Package or accredited course at Diploma or Advanced Diploma level.

The elective units chosen must be relevant to the work outcome and meet local industry needs.
