Description

This qualification reflects the role of master technicians in the automotive manufacturing sector. The qualification is suitable for automotive manufacturing industries, including passenger motor vehicle and bus, truck and trailer.

No licensing, legislative or certification requirements apply to this qualification at the time of publication.

Total number of units = ten (10)
- three (3) core units, plus
- seven (7) elective units, of which:
- all specialist elective units must be chosen
- up to four (4) general elective units may be chosen from the general elective units listed below
- up to two (2) elective units may be chosen from a Certificate III qualification or above in this Training Package or another endorsed Training Package or accredited course, provided that the units chosen contribute to the vocational outcome of this qualification and do not duplicate the outcome of another unit chosen for the qualification.
