Description

This qualification allows individuals to develop post-trade skills and knowledge to become specialists within the horse breeding industry. It is designed to meet the needs of supervisors or team leaders in the agriculture industry.
No occupational licensing, legislative or certification requirements apply to this qualification at the time of publication. However, an individual unit of competency may specify relevant licensing, legislative and/or regulatory requirements. Specific determination should be sought through the relevant State or Territory.

Packaging Rules
To achieve this qualification, competency must be demonstrated in:
- twelve (12) units of competency:
- two (2) core units plus
- ten (10) elective units.

Elective units must ensure the integrity of the qualification’s Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF) alignment and contribute to a valid, industry-supported vocational outcome. The electives are to be chosen as follows:
- seven (7) from the electives listed below
- up to three (3) from the electives listed below, or any currently endorsed Training Package or accredited course.
