Description
The Certificate I in Local Government (Operational Works) prepares a person to work in Local Government to perform a defined range of activities most of which may be routine and predictable.

Packaging Rules
Eight (8) units of competency are required for the award of this qualification:- five (5) core units
- three (3) elective units
Choose three (3) elective units:
- two (2) units from the Specialist Operational Works elective units listed below
- one (1) unit, at Certificate I level, from elsewhere within this Training Package,or from another endorsed Training Package or Accredited Course
NOTE: For this qualification the elective unit may be drawn from an AQF level above the AQF level of this qualification
