Packaging Rules
The requirements for granting this qualification will be met when competency is demonstrated and achieved for:- All the Core Competency standard units and a minimum of 60 weighting points from discipline-specific units from Schedule 2/3, and
- The completion of a minimum of 360 points from Schedule 2/3 of the Schedule of Elective Competency Standard Units. Any weighting points achieved in addition to the requirements of a previous qualification though, may contribute to the addition of weighting points for this qualification. That is, if in the course of achieving the Certificate II qualification a learner achieved 90 points of elective units, 30 points from the 90 points can contribute to the Certificate III qualification. Schedules 2 and 3 form an integral part of this qualification.
