Description
This qualification reflects the role of emergency response and rescue team leaders or coordinators working in the resources and infrastructure industries, who perform tasks involving a broad range of skilled applications in a wide variety of contexts, which involve application of discretion and judgement in selecting equipment, services or contingency measures.

Packaging Rules
Total number of units = ten (10)- four (4) core units plus
- six (6) elective units, of which:
- at least four (4) must be selected from the electives listed below
- up to two (2) may be selected from elsewhere within this training package, or from another endorsed training package, or from an accredited course.
Elective units must be relevant to the work environment and the qualification, maintain the overall integrity of the AQF alignment and contribute to a valid vocational outcome.
