Description
This unit involves the skills and knowledge required to manage rail passenger operations, in accordance with legislative, regulatory and organisational requirements.It includes preparing to manage rail passenger operations, optimising rail passenger operations, incorporating rail passenger safety requirements into the organisational safety management system (SMS), and developing and implementing rail passenger emergency response procedures. This unit can be applied to both metropolitan and regional passenger rail systems.No licensing, legislative or certification requirements apply to this unit at the time of publication.
