1. Prepare for inspection
  • 1.1 Identify workplace materials and equipment required for inspection processes
  • 1.2 Identify, tag and report damaged or unserviceable equipment
  • 1.3 Identify and apply workplace instructions and quality guidelines
2. Inspect work
  • 2.1 Identify and apply job specification, work order, inspection processes and quality standards
  • 2.2 Undertake workplace inspection processes against work quality goals
  • 2.3 Identify and follow work health and safety (WHS) requirements
  • 2.4 Apply workplace quality standards when conducting inspections, according to workplace procedures
  • 2.5 Protect workplace materials and equipment against damage during inspection, according to workplace instructions and quality guidelines
3. Complete work processes
  • 3.1 Inspect completed work to ensure quality outcomes against job specifications, and the achievement of customer requirements
  • 3.2 Complete and report work sheets and quality reports
