Description

This qualification reflects the role of individuals who perform a range of tasks in the manufacturing sector. The range of technical skills and knowledge is limited. The qualification is suitable for entry into the automotive manufacturing industry.

Packaging Rules
To achieve this qualification, competency must be demonstrated in:
- Fourteen (14) units of competency:
- Five (5) core units, plus
- Nine (9) elective units.

Elective units must ensure the integrity of the qualification’s Australian Qualification Framework (AQF) alignment and contribute to a valid, industry-supported vocational outcome, without duplicating the outcome of another unit chosen for this qualification.

The electives are to be chosen as follows:
- up to nine (9) elective units may be chosen from the elective units listed below
- up to three (3) elective units may be chosen from a Certificate II or above qualification in this Training Package or another endorsed Training Package or accredited course
