This unit describes the skills and knowledge required to develop product knowledge for products that are sold, installed or manufactured in the individual’s workplace and work sector.The unit applies to individuals who work under limited supervision to solve a defined range of unpredictable problems, and analyse and synthesise information from a variety of sources to identify product technical specifications, features and benefits.All work must be carried out to comply with workplace procedures, according to state/territory health and safety regulations, legislation and standards that apply to the workplace.
