GENERAL NOTES

This course is the copyright of South Metropolitan College of TAFE, Western
Australia.

To support the philosophy of the program, it is essential that lecturing staff
have experience and skills in teaching access and equity courses. Lecturing
staff must have undertaken Gender Inclusive and cross-cultural training.

This course gives students the minimum entrance requirements for mature age
entry into most mainstream courses at Certificate II or higher.

Course completion gives students Year 11 TAFE Literacy requirement.

The credentials for the completion of this course are equivalent to meeting the
requirements of Certificate III of General Education for Adults (Reading and
Writing).
