REMEDIAL ACTION
The primary responsibility for remedial action, necessary
in the areas of technical training and related trade
subjects, rests with individual lecturer and course co-
ordinator.

ACCREDITATION
On successful completion of the technical training
section of the course, the student will be credited with
the 1A subjects of the relevant Apprenticeship course.
Assessment of 1B subjects will be dependent upon each
individual student's progress during the program.

SUPPLEMENTARY PRACTICAL SKILLS
Factory and on-site visits should be undertaken when
available and relevant. On-site and on-campus real work
to be undertaken when relevant work available.

CERTIFICATE OF PRE-APPRENTICE STUDIES
To be eligible for this award, the student must reach a
pass standard in all subjects in this course.

NEW APPRENTICE TRAINING AND ASSESSMENT SCHEME
(NATAS)
For an apprentice to be eligible for a DEPARTMENT
OF EMPLOYMENT AND TRAINING TRADE CERTIFICATE, the
apprentice must have achieved the competencies as
determined by the rules of the appropriate Trade Training
Schedule (TTS).

Achievement of College-listed competencies for each
apprentice, as listed in the TTS, is to be recorded on
the appropriate Trade Training Schedule Assessment forms.

The Division of Industrial Training (DIT) will require a
completed College assessment report at the conclusion of
the apprentice's College training. This report is to be
forwarded to DIT, prior to the close of College business,
in the year of completion.
