Description
To prepare student for the common emergencies that
could be expected to develop in a laboratory
situation.
To demonstrate safe working procedures in the laboratory, and an awareness of
general safety and protective equipment.
To demonstrate correct techniques of use and care of
basic laboratory apparatus.
To demonstrate how to prepare common standard bench
and side-shelf solutions, and prepare dilutions of
these standards.
To teach competence in matters concerning the
ordering, storage and register of materials and
stock.
