Description
WA72 is a Metallurgy pathway training program that leads to the completion of the MSA60108 Advanced Dipolma of Manufacturing.
This qualification is designed to reflect the role of managers and/or advanced technical workers in the industry sector.

Six (6) units must be completed;
Plus 25 units chosen from the pathways electives and general electives

2. Elective Units
Complete twenty five (25) elective units as specified for metallurgy stream.
A minimum of 14 units must be chosen from the metallurgy specialist stream in MSA60108. The balance (up to 11 units) can be chosen from the General Electives group. Units listed in MSA 60108 as metallurgy specialist stream electives can also be taken as general electives.
Note: - at least six (6) of the fourteen (14) metallurgy elective units must be coded MSATCM5---and the unit MSATCM406A Apply basic chemistry principles to metallurgy must also be selected if it has not already been completed as part of a lower qualification
