4. This qualification was modified on 11/11/05 to split two large Units of Competence previously contained in Group 2 - Specialisation Units.
The original unit C5111 HLTREM2A Provide the Remedial Massage Treatment (380 hours) was split into eight smaller, more manageable parts at the request of the Curriculum Advisory Group. The eight smaller units are C7880, C7881, C7882, C7883, C7884, C7885, C7886 and C7887 which in total add up to the same 380 hours. Students who have previously completed unit C5111 (HLTREM2A) have completed all the requirements of the eight smaller units and are to be awarded an exemption from these eight smaller units now listed in Group 2 (Specialisation Units).
The original unit C5114 HLTREM5A Perform Remedial Massage Health Assessment (280 hours) was split into five smaller, more manageable parts at the request of the Curriculum Advisory Group. The five smaller units are C7888, C7889, C7890, C7891 and C7892 which in total add up to the same 280 hours. Students who have previously completed unit C5114 (HLTREM5A) have completed all the requirements of the five smaller units and are to be awarded an exemption from these five smaller units now listed in Group 2 (Specialisation Units).
