Description

The Diploma of Horticulture reflects the role of those who manage amenity horticultural enterprises where a range of skills and knowledge across the breadth of the industry is required or personnel working in horticulture at a level requiring higher technical skills.
No licensing, legislative or certification requirements apply to this qualification at the time of publication.

Packaging Rules
To achieve this qualification, competency must be demonstrated in:
- Ten(10) units of competency:
- Zero (0) core units plus
- Ten (10) elective units.

Elective units must ensure the integrity of the qualification’s Australian Qualification Framework (AQF) alignment and contribute to a valid, industry-supported vocational outcome. The electives are to be chosen as follows:
- Eight (8) units must be selected from the electives listed below
- Two (2) units may be selected from the remaining elective units listed below
- Two (2) units, packaged in qualifications aligned to AQF level 4 or above, may be selected from this or any other currently endorsed Training Package or Accredited Course.
