State Implementation and Classification
Description
This course of study is provided primarily for
members of the Western Australian Public Service,
and for employees of Government authorities. The
Diploma is also of value to employees of the
Australian Public Service.
In addition to the aims of the other courses in the
field of administration, this Diploma aims:

to provide a better understanding of procedures relating
to government activity.

to give a better understanding of the role of government
in the modern State.

to promote efficiency in the Public Service.
For promotional purposes within the State Public
Service, the Public Service Board advises that ...
"the Board will accept eight semester units,
including Business Communication 1A and 1B (or
equivalent) as the minimum level to qualify an
officer for promotion."
