A selection of tasks which enable students
to demonstrate their ability to speak clearly
and effectively. Topics to be selected by the
lecturer. 10 marks

A researched, informal, analytical report
(approximately 1,000 words). 20 marks
Written Expression
Regular in-class assessment of student's
written expression, including a composition on
a set topic. 20 marks

One two-hour examination 50 marks
