Description

THIS QUALIFICATION REPLACES WS58 PRE-APPRENTICE ELECTRICAL.
On completion of this program, participants will receive a Certificate I qualification. This Certificate I will articulate into the Certificate III qualification and facilitate acceptance of pre-apprentices into indentured apprenticeships. The Apprenticeship and Traineeship Directorate of the WA Department of Education and Training has agreed to allow a 3 month reduction in indentured period for applicants who have achieved entry to an apprenticeship as a result of completing this pre-apprenticeship pathway.

NOTE: Certificate I pre-apprenticeship programs are for the delivery of pre-apprenticeships for regional and remote areas only. Training providers can apply to the Department of Training and Workforce Development (DTWD) to deliver this program.
