Description
To provide learners with the knowledge and skills required for a basic understanding of soils.

By completing this module learners will be able to state in simple terms the physical properties of soils, the capacity of soils to provide water to plants and the importance of organic matter in soil and demonstrate how additives can be used to improve soil.
