Total number of units = nine (9)
Five (5) core units plus
Four (4) elective units, of which:
- up to four (4) units may be from Group A
- up to two (2) units may be from Group B
- up to two (2) units may be from an accredited course or any currently endorsed Training Package at Certificate II or III level.

The elective units chosen must be relevant to the work outcome and meet local industry needs.
