Description

This is a qualification for those engaged in traffic control room operations job roles within the transport and logistics industry.
It involves a broad range of skilled applications including requirements to evaluate and analyse current practices, to develop new criteria and procedures for performing current practices, and to provide leadership and guidance to others in applying skills and planning skill development.
Job roles:
The Certificate IV in Traffic Control Room Operations qualification is aligned to the following defined roles:
open road operator
tunnel road operator.
Please note: RTO to insert on the testamur, the specialist elective unit group selected from the group choice below.

Packaging Rules
A total of fourteen (14) units of competency comprising:

- Ten (10) core units listed below, plus
- All specialist elective units from Group A or Group B listed below, plus
- The remainder of elective units from Group C general elective units listed below.

The general elective units must contribute to the vocational outcomes of the qualification.
