State Implementation and Classification
Description
To provide learners with the knowledge and skills for employment in capacities of programmer, webmaster, internet/intranet programmer or administrator, data analyst, database administrator, database programmer, creating multimedia products.
To provide learners with the possibility of self-employment or contracting in programming, database and internet services.
To allow learners flexibility to do project work specialising in areas of interest. It also makes provisions for including new technologies as they are developed.
This Diploma course builds on studies covered in:

9247 Certificate IV of Information Systems, Multimedia and Internet
Studies
OR
9614 Certificate IV of Information Technology (Programming and
Systems Analysis stream).
