SECTOR SPECIALIST AND ELECTIVE UNITS: Learners to complete TEN (10) other units.

At least TWO (2) units must be selected from the Business Services Training Package (Common units, Recordkeeping, Specialist Administration, Governance).

At least THREE (3) units must be selected from the following training packages:
* Business Services (eg, Recordkeeping, Specialist Administration, Goverance),
* Entertainment (eg, Props, Sets, Scenic Art, Costume),
* Museums & Library/Information Services (eg, Exhibitions),
* Music (eg, Performance),
* Screen and Media (eg, Digital Content, Set and Scenery Construction),
* Visual Arts Craft & Design.

Remaining units may be selected from other areas of the Visual Arts, Craft and Design Training Package or any relevant endorsed training package at the appropriate level.

The total package of units must meet the requirements of the Australian Qualifications Framework Descriptor for a Certificate III. In all cases selection of electives must be guided by the job outcomes sought, local industry requirements and the level of the qualification.

This training program is a representation of the qualification code CUV30403 taken from the Visual Arts Craft & Design Training Package CUV03 which should be consulted for full description of requirements. CUV30403 is endorsed until 30/08/2006.

3. This qualification was originally entered on to STARS by Central TAFE on 26/10/2004.

4. This qualification was updated on 18 September and 7 October, 2008 by the DET to reflect a national continuous improvement version change (V3). The change mostly consisted of removing Key Competencies which were replaced by Employability Skills in all units. Accordingly, all CUV03 units within this qualification received a new national code (ie, B or C version) and a new TAFEWA ID unit number. Imported BSB units may have also replaced some CUV units.
