Description

Rationale:
A general qualification for the Aviation Industry. Successful completion will require competency in 14 units that relate to work defined as Aviation (Flight Operations).
Performance of a prescribed range of functions involving known routines and procedures and some accountability for the quality of outcomes.
Occupations may include:
Cabin crew
Cargo services operator.

Requirements for completion of the qualification:
A successful assessment outcome for a total of fourteen (14) units comprising:
- at least five (5) to seven (7) units from the Certificate I in Aviation elective units
- where less than seven (7) units are selected, the remaining units should be drawn from a Certificate I qualification from another endorsed Training Package.
PLUS
- at least five (5) to seven (7) units from the Certificate II elective units listed
- where less than seven (7) units are selected from the list, the remaining units should be drawn from a relevant Certificate II qualification from another endorsed Training Package.
