Description

This is a qualification for those engaged in waste driving job roles within the transport and logistics industry.
Job roles
Job roles and titles vary across different sectors. Possible job titles relevant to this qualification include:
Waste Vehicle Driver.
No licensing, legislative or certification requirements apply to this qualification at the time of publication.

Packaging Rules
A total of nineteen (19) units of competency comprising:
- twelve (12) core units listed below plus
- one (1) licensing or industry elective unit relevant to the vehicle type applicable to the job role from the licensing/industry elective units listed below plus
- six (6) general elective units from the general elective units listed below. Up to two (2) of the general elective units may be selected from any relevant nationally endorsed Training Package or accredited course. The general elective units must contribute to the vocational outcomes of the qualification.

Where imported units are selected, care must be taken to ensure that all prerequisite units specified are complied with.
